Venous thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) is the second most common cause of TOS. The typical site of subclavian vein compression is at the level of the costoclavicular space between the first rib, subclavius muscle, and clavicle.
Our patient had intermittent symptoms of venous compression (swollen hand) without any thrombus in axillosubclavian vein (McCleery syndrome). If thrombosis present it is known as Paget-Schroetter syndrome.
